This is when I am in the boat.
This, is my sister and my cousin. Sometimes, I find them both a little... you know, crazy...
I went to a Kalong(you know like a floating house...) trip with my family and my cousins a few days ago. It was sooooooo enjoyable!
First we left the house so very early that my eyelids were ajar...
We went to have breakfast with my cousins. Then we went to the cruise centre to take the ferry. We were late. So we missed the direct ferry. So we had to take the transit one. It was a long long wait.
When it was finally our turn, we had to squese our way into the ferry. It was a one hour ride in the ferry. I was so boared that, I fell asleep. When we finally arrived, the " tour guide" was there to pick us. Then he took us to the van and then drove us to a "jetty". It was a long, boring and stuffy drive.
When we reached the mini jetty(which was apperantly, deserted), we went on a fishing boat which took us to the kalong. When we reached, we were surprised. It was actually larger than I thought and it was so so so WINDY!
It was so much better than I can imagine!!! It was bigger than our school hall... and also, there were about ten rooms there. So COOL...!
So we started unloading our things and choose our rooms. We choose room 2...(I dont know why... all the rooms were the same...) So after we settled down, my uncle, aunt and grandparents started fishing...(which was all their hobby...-_-") So we spent the entire whole day...fishing. I did fish a little too... but, I caught none...(wasting my time) although I fished till I was pitch dark...at night...>_<"(sooooooo sad) lols.
For lunch, we had ...SEAFOOD, something I detested most! Although everyoneloved the food, I almost vomited...In the end, for lunch, all I had was plain rice and vegetable...very little or should I say tooooooooooooooooo little... you know, for someone whose size is as big as me............-_-"...lols.
then at dinner...SEAFOOD again... as you know I hate seafood. So for dinner, I ate slightly more than what I had for lunch, but still little as if I am on a major diet of what...
After dinner, we had a Kara OK sesson. It was utterly awful...(sad to say)
Then, I went to bed.
The next morning I woke up, my relatives have gone fishing early in the morning. Luckily, breakfast was bee hoon. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it.
Then, the owner took us to a beach.(which is actually an island) We had fun there. The water was as cryster clear and as salty as my grandfather's porridge...after a while, we went back to...fish, again!
Finally, this time, I caught a fish. After that, I felt tired and took a nap. when I woke up, it was time to go home.
So we reluctantly lef the kalong and went back to the deserted jetty that we went to on the first day.
It took us about 2 hours to reach singapore. An hour in a stuffy van and another in a ferry.
~~~~~~~~~~ok this is the worst part of the entire trip.~~~~~~~~~~~
While we were on the ferry, while it was trying to make a turn, it suddenly knocked into something. Luckily, the engine did not die...
And so, throughout the entire way back from Batam to singapore, I was just sitting there, not even daring to fall asleep for even a minute!
Not only I was scared, I could even feel the fear in everyone else and what makes things worst is that neither the captan nor the crew said anything!!! Not even telling us that everything was fine!!! The ferry just carry on moving as if nothing had took place...(silly captan and his silly old crew)
Finally when we arrived at Singapore, when the boat was only at like Sentosa, alot of people already got ready their things and were queueing up to disembark the ferry...silly people. Thingking that they can get of the ferry while it is still moving. What are they going to do, jump down and swim to the jetty!?
When I finally reached home, I felt lucky that I had survive. Thank GOODNESS!!!
