Today i just came back from my camp at KOREF Organic rice farm.Wah it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun ar... But the days before the camp har...... VERY, VERY,VERY mahuan(very troublesome) arrr!must buy this buy that...zzzzzzzzz.(-_-")(tiao). so hor me and my mother go out shopping for hours!!!!!!!!then finally got what we was lookin for. Number 2 most mahuan is the packing...i took 5 days to finnally finish packing my stuff...zzzzz.But then i got another problem..........is that i pack like "KIAM CHAI(VERY MESSY)"like that.so any way i thought that i still have time to pack,so i decided to call it a day... Then the next morning i wake up then go to school.....BLAH,BLAH,BLAH......(like normal days lor...) Then hor... when i came home from school that time...i was surprised that hor everything packed neat neat le.than i thought that it is my aunty pack for me one(as she is leavind next door only...)but then i reallised that it was my mother that packed for me one(as i asked her when she come home...i mean DAH!).She help me pack every thing neat neat le.so i said TY(thank you)(p.s i like to speak singlish...)to her lor... Than on the actual day,(yesterday)when i go on my school bus, i very P.S(pronunce like this "pai sei")(like very shy like that or excuse me)that everyone carry such a small bag eccept me carry big huge bag and more than one bag somemore leh.then all the small ones start to question me le lor..."Why u carry so big bag?"or"you going for a camp ar?..."too bad for me lor... i have to answer their questions lor...lucky not many of them ask me questions ar. Then when i reach school,i was like one of the first ones to reach leh...then my class start to line up le lor... Then we sing national enthem and say pledge.then we board the bus.the starting of the journey was quite exciting and also boring.then the guides started intruducing themselves.after that it became very boring.But then hor...my hero come save me leh....guess ho my hero...is ny handphone and earpiece.Soooooo,i can hear music on the bus le!yeah....! then,my hero failed me.the battery one bar gone!!!!!(gaspe).then i thought i cought listen longer as i got 2 bar of battery left.But on a second thought...i stopped as my parents want me to sms them after i eat my medicine.(but i only sms them once as my hp was not with me for a long long long time...)so... very boring lor...hmmmm.sigh.-_-"so at that moment,i knew that there was only one thing left to do....wait till we reach the custome... wah when we reach the custome...chop here chop there than done le.so now it is a full boring 3 hours on the bus...sigh...Now i knew the ony one REAL thing to do.......................................................................................hello...?drumroles pls...the only REAL thing left to do is ........................................SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(if u guess correct,then good 4 you if not then too bad lor...)so i tried and tried to sleep BUT did not succeed.wah! wah!i want to cry le ar...waste 3 hours of my time forcing myself to sleep!zzzzzzzz...
Wah after such a long time we finally reach our destintion!!!(3 cheers)Woo Hoo!i was sooooo excited ar...But then we reallised that my class was the first to reach the campsite.(that is our target...to reach there first,faster than all the other classes)...so we have some extra time...like half an hour of extra time....so our guide brought us to the M.P.H(multy purpose hall...).we placed our bags down and sat down waiting for instructions...then our guide told us to sit around him...He said that since we were early...he was going to teach us some songs...so he asked us to sit in a circle as he started to teach.The first song was called "I HAVE JOY LIKE THE RIVER"said it was a very nice song...but i found it ok only...then after the singing...he thought us the hand actions to the song...then we put the hand actions and the song together.we did the same thing several times until the other classes arrived.so we all started lining up in our classes as we waited for futher instructions....
Then instrutions came and asked us to send out five volounteers from each class...Many were asking what are we going to do if we'd volounteered...?but even our teachers did not know(as instructions were given by the trainers there...).so slowly five ppl(people)from each class volounteered....then soon we realised why the trainers need volounteers le...it is to go and collect the tents or their respctive classes...so we got ours and still continued waiting for further instructions.
Instructions finally came...it was to go to your respective trainers as they would teach us how to pitch our tent.so we waited 4 our turn as it finally came.so we carried our tent to a spot as our trainers were already waiting there...
(-_-" we toooooooooo slow le)so they started teaching.....BLAH...BLAH...BLAH...BLAH.Then they asked us to go and pitch our own tent...So we build and build and.......wahlah!it was finished...!Then our next instruction was to put our bags into the tent.so all 8 of us(there is 8 ppl in my group...)ran back to the M.P.H to collect our bags...then we placed our bags into the tent.
Then our trainers asked us to gather at m.p.h for lunch...so we ran to mph filled with excitement to know what was for lunch...
then as soon as we were queing for our food i saw the organic rice...(it kind of looked like fried rice...).i thought to myself...:"it must be delicious...".so i waited excitedly for my turn...then it was my turn,so i took my food and go into the canteen to eat.first i took a spoon full of the rice,expecting it to be delicious...i put it into my mouth...ELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it taste like coconout skin.....and worse it is tasteless........luckily have a water melon so i faster took a bite on it....it does not taste as good but atleast it is a little nice(-_-"tiao...)lucky i managed to finish the food without throwing up...p.s...
after everyone finished their food,we gathered at the m.p.h.Then finally we can have some activities.the chief guide told us that we were going to have a nature walk...our guide was aunty Helen...she looked kind to me...
as soon as the chief guide dissmissed us to our nature walk...we lined up in 2 straight lines and got ready for our nature walk...then before we start,our guide intruuced herself...and then we started our walk...so we walked and walked and aunty Helen explained some stuff to us...and THEN...in the middle of the walk,while aunty Helen was explaining it started to drizzle...then the rain got stronger an stronger un till it was raining CATS & DOGS!...so we made our journey back to m.p.h...so we ran and ran UNDER the rain...we were all wet and we were still runing to the m.p.h....even the teaher was all wet...!we ran and ran ...by then were all wet...it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun running in the rain.. then as we were running as if it was for our lives we saw the other classes in a shelter hidding from the rain...so our teacher decided to join them...so we also went into the shelter...
then after awhile...the teacher decided to practise the song we were going to sing the next day...so everybody sang and sang....after singing,the rain have not stopped and we've been under this shelter for about haf an hour...so we decided to move on......................
As soon as we reached the m.p.h,the chief coach told us to go and check our tent as the downpour had toppled many tents...so everyone ran towards their tents...while walking to my tent i saw many toppled tents...I also saw many ppl trying to make their tent up again...Then i saw my tent...i was still in perfect form(from the outside...)!but it was wet...so my group and i went to the tent and was shocked to see the inide of the tent..........it was filled with puddles of water...!we immediatly took all our stuff out and started thinking of an idea....then me the genius thought of an great idea...we lift the whole tent up to drain all the water away...and it orked...!so after we finished we reported to the m.p.h for instructions...but some other groups have not finished and the whole class is waiting for them...so we decided to go help them...
after they finished...me ran back to m.p.h and the chief instructor tol us that we will be going to the water obstacle...(although it was still raining..infact,it rained all night...)so we lined up for the briefing of the water obstacle...so we wore our life jackets...we went into the water obstacle...when it was my turn 4 the first obstacle...i was nervours but my firends cheered me up.....so i started swinging(the 1st obstacle is a swing)but faalled into the water....each person had 2 tries so i went up again...but failed again...so i climbed up ashore a moved on...to obstacle number 2...
obstacle 2 was to cross the river by balancing on a log...and this time i did it!!!!yeah!than obstacle 3 is to cross the river again but with a longer log...and i did it!!!!!!....then obstacle 4 was to climb over a net...it looked easy but it was not...but at last...i still did it...!than obstacle5 was to cross the river using ropes..and i did it!!!so i wanted to go for another round but this time,during obstacle 5........the whole thing toppled and hit someone on his head...(it heppened right infront of me...!)the boy was okay but his whole head was red and green and filled with mud....(he was crying...).the guide immediatly stopped the event and asked everyone to come back ashore.................we went back to m.p.h...
the guides asked us to go to the canteen for something hot to drink...then it was dinner time...so we had organic rice for dinner again.....
Than that night night,we were all soooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed to hear that our night walk was cancelled due to the rain....zzzzzzzzzz!arrh so xian arrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Than the chief guide said that were going to have a sing along session....(DAH!it is to entertain us...to replace my precious night walk!!!!!!!!!)they thought us other songs...but i found some of them "lame"....then they said that our school had a very great singer and she is also a music teacher in my school....she is MY MUSIC TEACHER!!!!!!!!!so all of us cheered my music teacher to go on stage...so i think he had no choice but to do it..so she went up and sang"i love you,you love me,we are one big family,with a big hug and then a kiss from me to you,wont you say you love me too..." so lame lar...zzzzz
then the guides gave my music teacher some time to prepare to sing.then the guides started to talk on the stage...talk talk talk and talk..zzzz...then suddenly we heared ppl screaming... i wondered what was happening.........then i saw many insects near the light on the top of the m.p.h....girls and boys were screaming as the insects were crawling near them...then one of the boys from my class trid to get rid of the insects by picking them up and then throw them far away...soon the guides turned the lights off and trying to calm us down by telling us that the insects will not harm us...but the screaming continued as some of us switch on our torch
lights to try to spot the insects..then some of the boys were telling each other to off the torch as it would attract the insects...Then after awhile...it stopped raining without us taking notice...luckily...the chief trainer came into the m.p.h to say that the rain had stopped and we will be going for our night walk...!(what u think...of course i very happy lor...)then the chief trainer(c.t)say that 5 classes will go for the night walk first...the other classes will do their reflection ....then we will do a swap...
so my class is one of the 5 classes to go for the walk 1st....so we lined up...the trainer told us that we will have to remain silent throughout the walk and we could not use our torch light unless the trainer says so...so we begun our walk...(the class start to talk le...)the trainer also told us to hold onto the person in front of us as we are walking...incase we get lost.
then we started the walk...i felt soooo scared that i kept holding on to the person infront of me....tightly...then we walked and walked until the entrance of the route through the nature walk(just that it is darker)...it was a little scary but little fun also........................................................we walked and walked until i was used to the surroundings...and i let go of my hands................we crossed bridges and then continued walking...the whole walk as just like walking but just that u cannot see anything........................................then after sometime of walking.......our trainer turnd back.......i knew that our walk had ended...so we walked back......not knowig where are we going...
after a few minutes...we reached the m.p.h...then we saw the other classes going for their walk...then it was time for our reflection...we were suppose to write about what had we learnt and what we found fun and the not so fn ones and the borings ones...then after filling everything accept the so good things.........i was busy thinking what i did not enjoy...........................................................................................................
after some time of thinking....i thought of something i did not like...........................................................the.........FOOD!...
So i wrote it down..............then i founded it weird that many other ppl wrote food in the not so nice row...........(which means that most of the ppl did not enjoy the food.....maybe because they are organic...-_-")after reflection time,was snack time..............you can either have hot milo or bread or both.....i took the bread.......i put kaya in it and some peanut butter too.....then i ate it up.......................luckily the bread taste like normal bread.......phew...then it was bed time....so we all went into our groups and went back to our tent.....
while we were in the tent,we shared our tibits and played cards....then we went to sleep............................in the midle of the night,me and oneof my tent mates were still wide awake......our neibours were quarreling among each other.....me and my tent mate were laughing and laughing at what they were saying...then after some timei knew it was late and i had to wake up early te next day...so i forced myself to slep.......................................>_<"
the next morning,when i woke up,it was freezing cold and i was shivering.................whew...i knew i had to pack my bag as i was goging home today...so i woke everyone up and all of us started packing our things...then just in time,we went to m.p.h for our breakfast............we had bee hoon for breakfast....it taste bad too but atleast it taste better than the rice........then we were told that we were going to a chinese school.....
they were putting something up to welcome us so we will be singing and another class will be dancing..................so since we had little time left so we decided to practise first..................
after practising,we went onto the coach and then carry on with our journey...when we went there,we went to see the basket ball match of our school vs Kahang school.the champion of a state.......
The trip there was not a long one. we tooked about 10 minutes to reach there. after reaching there, we went to the basket ball field. it was so exciting.
soon the match begin, all the players were playing at their best.
soon after about an hour, the match ended. WE WON THE GAME...!!!YIPEE!
i also found out something interesting, the brand of their mineral water is called " NO NAME" ha ha ! how funny was that!
when the match was over, we procided to the hall to watch the performance they prepared for us. although some of their performance was quite boring, i still enjoyed myself. then, we put on a performance too! (._.")we sang some chinese songs. then ,principals of both schools went to have a speech to us.after an hour, it was time to go home.
